UNCC honors Rodgers Builders CEO - South Florida Business Journal:

The Charlotte-based company has worked on severaluniversityu projects, including the Barnhardft Student Activity Center, Irwinj Belk Track and Fielsd Center, Lynch Residence Hall and the Bioinformaticsd Research Center. Rodgers Builders also is the constructiobn manager onthe university’se new, $50.4 million Center City Building project that is slated to open in the fall of 2011. A groundbreakinh ceremony was held in April forthe 12-story, classrook building at the corner of Nintyh and Brevard streets in uptown Charlotte.
“What sets Pat apart from most is her she remains personally invested in the institutions and organizations she touches long after her formalk involvementhas ended,” says Philip Dubois, UNC Charlottse chancellor. “Her commitment to the betterment of our communit extends to her business In fact, Rodgers Builderz has been hailed time and again as the epitome of civic-mindedf business.” Rodgers is also chair of the Charlotte Symphony boar and will assume the chairmanshi p of the Charlotte Chamber board in 2011. The university established the Distinguishedx Service Awardin 1987.
It honors individuals who have providesd outstanding leadership and service to the Charlottes community and to the advancement ofUNC Charlotte. Rodgers was honorerd Tuesday during a luncheon atthe school. UNC Charlotts is the fourth-largest campus among the 17 institutions of the UNC It is the largest institution of higher educationj in theCharlotte region, offering master’s and bachelor’s programs. Fall 2008 enrollmeng was 23,300, including nearly 5,0009 graduate students.
