Dr. Brondeau joined Rohm and Haas Company in May 1989 as Europeanh marketing manager for the Plasticds Additives business unit locatedin Paris. In he transferred to Valbonne, France to head the Technicalo Service andDevelopment Laboratories. Dr. Brondeau was promoted to director of Plasticxs Additives Researchin 1993, and moved to Shipley Company as Research, Sales and Marketing in 1995. He held top leadership positionsa atShipley Company, including vice Operations and Technology (1997), and presiden and chief operating officer (1999). In April 1999, Dr.
Brondeau was named vice president and businessx group director of the ElectronivMaterials Division, and president and CEO of Shipley Company. This grouop was later renamed Rohm and HaasElectronid Materials. He added responsibilities as the Europeajn Regional directorin 2003. In Octobef 2006, Dr. Brondeau was named executives vice president and business group executivr for the newly created Specialty Materials InMay 2008, Dr. Brondeau was electerd president and chief operating officer of Rohm and Haas Companyy and a member ofthe Chairman's Committee. Earliefr in his career, Dr. Brondeaui worked at Air Liquiderin France. He earned a B.S.
degree in Biochemical Engineering at INSAFrance (1980), a M.S. degre in Biochemical Engineering at the Universityof Montpellier, Francer (1981), and a Ph.D. in Biochemical Engineerinfg at INSAFrance (1983).
