Alaska, a unit of Seattle-basee (NYSE: ALK), tied for No. 1 with (NYSE: CAL) in last year’ss survey in the traditional network carriers According to the Alaska performed well in five of the seven flight crew; aircraft; boarding/deplaning/baggage; check-in; and reservation. Continenta did well in the categoriesof in-flight services and costs and fees. JetBlue Airwaysd (NASDAQ: JBLU) ranked No. 1 among low-cost carrier s in the J.D. Power survey. Although Alaska Airliness won top spot inthe J.D. Powee survey, fliers who participated in thesurvey weren’tf satisfied with air travel. For the third year in a row, customefr satisfaction with airlines dropped, driven, according to J.D.
Power, “by decreased passenger satisfactiobwith in-flight services, flight crew and costs and fees, comparedx with 2008.”
